The Professional Makeup MUA Course
Our professional make-up artist course offers a superior level of industry training, which will push your boundaries to perfect classic bridal looks to dramatic high fashion looks as well as gruesome special effects including creating burn victims and knife wounds. On completion of your course you will hold an International Diploma in Fashion, Theatre and Media Makeup.

Course Outline
Designed for those who wish to pursue a career as a professional make-up artist, our professional make-up artistry course offers a superior level of industry training which will push your boundaries to perfect classic bridal looks and also dramatic high fashion looks as well as gruesome special effects, including creating burn wounds and knife wounds.
The Professional Course will be conducted on-site using state-of-the-art studio facilities.
Learners will participate in photo-shoots working alongside a photographer.
These final images will create a six image portfolio, a key promotional tool for every make-up artist.
Preparing learners for work after they graduate is of primary concern for Saffron College of Hair & Beauty.
With this priority in mind every learner on the professional make-up artistry course will complete a one day work experience programme and include a business section as part their course to assist with career development and job opportunity.

To complete this course you will be required to work hard both in class and at home.
We recommend a minimum of 1-2 hours of practical & theoretical study to be completed each day in order to become a competent and confident MUA.
We also strongly recommend that you commence your work experience a minimum of 8 weeks into your training.
